Cancer and the mind


Mindfulness, Hypnotherapy and Stress management are increasingly being used in controlling cancers and other life threatening illnesses.

Over the past 20 years there have been many advocates of exploring the mind-body link in the challenge of chronic ailments with poor medical prognoses.

Louise Hay, Brandon Bays, and the Bristol Approach with Penny Brohn are examples of approaches that highlight the mental and emotional context of cancer.


The essence of these approaches is the focus on beliefs and attitudes alongside holistic measures in facing and overcoming patterns of ill health.

We are advocates of Mindfulness and Belief coaching to create the immunological conditions for the body’s return to health.

Hypnotherapy is used to explore the time lines of beliefs and destructive memories and Advanced healing techniques in harmony with the client’s spiritual belief systems

2. Harmful states of mind (eg. anger, guilt and fear) can                  suppress the immune system.


3. Deal with these harmful states of mind and the immune system                 response can be revived and cancer prevented or healed.


Anyone can get lost in the ever changing world of modern living. Once you lose a vision of good health, both consciously and at the subconscious level, life becomes tough. The negative feelings that are generated soon deplete the body’s amazing defence system, leaving it vulnerable to illness and often simply exhausted.


We use a 6 step program to retune the body to health.


Each step is supported by a cd to encourage healthy change.
